3. Placing an order
When you place an order on esterromana.com, you are making an offer to purchase. A binding contract between you and Ester Romana Limited is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion — for example, where an item is unavailable, where a pricing error has occurred, or where we are unable to verify payment.
For made-to-order and bespoke pieces, your order confirmation will include your agreed specifications (leather type, last, sole, customisation choices, and so on). Once you have confirmed these details and production has commenced, the order cannot be amended or cancelled.
You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices displayed on this website are in pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable. For international orders, local taxes, import duties, and customs charges are not included in the displayed price and remain the customer’s responsibility.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place it. In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing your order.
Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. We accept major credit and debit cards and any other payment methods displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely by our payment providers.
5. Delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We will make every effort to dispatch your order promptly, but we are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, customs processing, remote delivery locations, adverse weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

6. Returns and cancellations
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel an order for standard (non-customised) items within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. You must notify us in writing at info@esterromana.com within this period.
The following items are exempt from the right to cancel:
- Made-to-order shoes and accessories produced to your specification
- Bespoke or customised items where production has commenced
- Items reduced by 50% or more (final sale)

7. Product descriptions
We take care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, and images on this website are accurate. However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen settings and calibration. For made-to-order and bespoke items, the final product will be made to the agreed specification confirmed at the time of order, rather than matching photography on the website exactly.
We reserve the right to modify product specifications, discontinue products, or update pricing at any time without prior notice.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, photography, product imagery, graphic design, the Ester Romana wordmark, the ER monogram, and the ER Crown emblem — is the intellectual property of Ester Romana Limited. Ester Romana and the ER Monogram are registered trademarks.
